At Botha
At was born in Kroonstad, South Africa in 1949. As his father was a teacher, At spent most of his childhood traveling between towns in the Orange Free State region.
He matriculated at Hoërskool Menlo Park in Pretoria, after which he completed studies in drama. At loved painting since he was a child and even though he never had any formal training he has been painting for longer than he has been acting.
"My inspiration to paint is mostly derived from images from my childhood. Clouds and mountains fascinate me. I want to draw people into my paintings towards the clouds and the mountains, which is mainly the reason why I paint figures from behind".
Carla Bosch
Carla Bosch was born on 14 January 1976 in Pretoria, South Africa. Carla has a warm and cheerful personality which is reflected in her colorful landscapes and street scenes. Carla paints in acrylic and her favorite color is yellow. She inherited her talent from her father, Anton Gericke, who inspired her as well as being her tutor in art.
Cornelius Bosch

Cornelius was born in 1956 and studied at the Technicon in Pretoria, South Africa. He worked as a free lance graphic artist for a few years and decided to make painting his career.
His name is linked to expressionistic art work of flowers. This artist also has a reputation for dramatic landscapes. As a true South African artist, Cornelius gets his inspiration from his country and its history.
Derric Van Rensburg
Derric Van Rensberg was born in 1952 in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. The beauty surrounding him in his Karoo town at an early age triggered the desire to capture his environment in art form. He eventually moved to Cape Town, South Africa to study art and built a career in the commercial art field but he never neglected his desire to paint when inspired.
In 1990 he moved to the Overberg in the shadow of the Riviersonderend Mountains and subsequently established his studio there. This magnificent setting of mountains and wheat fields, ever changing with the seasons and inhabited by a myriad of birds and wildlife, is revealed in his paintings. Van Rensberg excels as a bird and wildlife artist but recently his impressionistic landscapes focusing on the Overberg Mountains, wheat fields and wetlands have drawn accolades from an ever-increasing number of collectors. Apart from nine solo exhibitions, Van Rensberg has been commissioned privately and by major institutions. He has had very successful exhibitions in England and Portugal.
Eryn Gadsby
Eryn Gadsby was born in 1944 in Germiston, South Africa. Eryn always painted as a hobby but started to sell her work about 25 years ago. She took art lessons from Mr. Nasa who trained at the Royal Academy of Art who taught her to copy the old masters using dry brush technique. She also paints landscapes, flowers and street scenes.
Eryn used to paint with acrylic but has returned to her old favorite, namely oils. She also uses a palette knife. Her paintings can be found in private collections in South Africa and abroad.
Isabel le Roux

Jacques
Pieter Jacques Krügel was born in 1958 in the eastern highveld of South Africa in the province of Mpumalanga . It was there that his love for nature was nurtured. Jacques' childhood days were spent in a carefree environment and his family's artistic interests and activities made a lasting impression on him.
Jacques completed a national diploma in Graphic Design at the Pretoria Technikon and for a number of years he utilized his knowledge and skills in video production and artistic functions for a major national corporation.
Today, Jacques is a full-time artist, best known for his magnificent landscapes. His medium of choice is acrylic paint on canvas and each of his works reminds him of his place of birth, the open skies and endless vastness - the magic of South Africa . "What I try to do is to portray something that is pleasant to my eyes, enjoy the language of color and create energy by using strong contrasting colors". Occasionally Jacques also experiments with flower studies and figure drawings. Jacque's work can be found in private collections and with major corporations in South Africa and abroad.
Nic van Rensburg
Nic van Rensburg is a multi-talented artist who specializes in warm-colored landscapes. He learned to paint by acute observation, without any formal training, thus developing his own individual style. He started out with a Tuscan theme in 2003 and developed it true to his own style. He also does a wide variety of classical figures and children. Wildlife studies are a subject close to heart - in oil or acrylic - on canvas and leather, as well as sculptures in bronze. He has been a full-time artist for the past 10 years.
He has exhibited in Paris, France and was invited by the South African Embassy to exhibit his wildlife and sculptures in 2001. His work can be found in private collections in England, Canada, France, America and Australia.
Portchie
Portchie is arguably the most successful contemporary artist in South Africa. He was born and raised in the Free State and matriculated in 1981 at the Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch. At the request of a friend who wanted to share a studio with him, Portchie started painting in 1992.
"I paint universal themes, children hop-scotching, people riding bicycles, people reading - my art doesn't know any language and this means it is equally popular in America, Germany, the United Kingdom or South Africa," he says. "It is not difficult to understand or appreciate." A painting by Portchie is always intensely colorful - he seems to see the world in terms of warm yellows, vivid blues, bright reds, intense greens.
For Portchie, the world is a bright, cheerful place and this contagion communicates itself immediately with the viewer. His works are exhibited widely and are held in private collections all over the world.
Liezl Knoll
Liezl was born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1962. She always had a passion for color and as a student she started to paint on silk and exercised her love for art on a part-time basis.
In April 1998 she attended the Dale Eliot Fine Art Course in Knysna, South Africa which resulted in the beginning of her career as a fine artist. This was followed up by attending the advanced course with Dale Eliot in October 1999.
Liezl has already taken part in two group exhibitions in Pretoria, South Africa and she did her first solo exhibitions in early 1999. She works mainly in acrylics and oils.
Munro
Munro is a popular South African painter of colorful and vibrant artwork with international appeal. His passion for color, texture and light is evident from his work. His style reflects confidence and a boldness that comes from a deep understanding of the media. Munro uses builders' tools such as pallet knives and no brush for these creations.
